Understanding the configuration files

  • pad_mode: Indicate if your control send control_change or note_on/note_off MIDI messages.
  • base_note_offset: This is either the id of your first/lowest pad, or the note it is assigned to, depending on the mode of your pad above. This is a positive integer.
  • pot_max_value: This is the maximum value your knob can take. MIDI knob are usually bounded between [0;127].
  • id_knob_XXX: Indicate the id assigned to the knob you selected to be assigned to a specific function. This is a positive integer.

The files default.cnfmidi, user_settings.json as well as all the .png files are necessary for the correct functionning of P44D5.
